Me and one of my possie dressed up as Sana and Mama (I'm the one with the plant on my head-you can't miss me!) for AnimeFest this year. My friend had made me kimonos for my b-day, so for my first con I wanted to dress up in one of them, and Misako is a wonderful character that always wears kimonos.
What a great pair to cosplay-even when we lost everything including Sana's Barucha and my hats, we were still happy and optimistic, looking forward to a brighter tomorrow.

The highlight was meeting Greg Ayers (voice of Tsuioshi (sp?XP)) and doing the Kodocha dance for him (if I ever get the vid of us dancing-I'll combine it w/ Greg's reaction to share!). It was cool because I could tell him what the blade children really are-but not there because of fans around who haven't seen all of it, but I PMed him on MySpace. He hasn't messaged me back his reaction or anything >.> ^^ But still, it was so cool!
I also had the annoyance of being a celebrity at the con. Just because of the plant on my head, tons of people stopped me for my picture even if they never even heard of Kodocha XD so yay, I was famous for a weekend.

Don't know who that is, but you look spectacular, dahlin'!
