Hey! Since Facifer discussed the meaning of his username in his Intro thread, I thought it would be a fun conversation piece!
Many of you may already know, but lost of people ask about my names. So here I go explaining {again lol}
Refi-chan is an evolved nick name. Back in high school I was writing a Movie Script. The movie took place in another dimension were peoples counter-parts from this world had the same name but spelled backwards. One of the main characters was Queen Refinnej. In college Equus read what I had written and afterwards called me Refi for short. A year later, her friends that were twins and I found a common interest in watching DBZ and dragged her into it to and thus the first formation of my possie! By the end of college, we were anime fans and Equus added on the Japanese suffix of -chan (which when I first found out it meant little I was a littled peeved, but since have grown to like it-I think it brings out the sparkles in my eyes *baby Koenma pose*) And thus my name of Refi-chan was created!
Tiggerola or Tigerola is a lot simpler ^^ I like felines so it is simply Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh) and the end of viola (-ola) since back when I came up with the name for an email account I was obsessed about playing the viola.

It had never occurred to me that a psycho would be boring.
While I'm not normally one to complain about moderation or censorship on a private message board, I do mind somewhat if it's going to get in the way of mutual comprehension. From what I've seen so far, it looks like sooner or later this system is going to bite us all on the I have a poor vocabulary.
At least, for those of you who don't bother to preview before you post.

Well so far we have responsible members on here, but I just changed the setting so 'class' will show up properly (instead of 'clI have a poor vocabulary' cute huh?), hopefully this won't lead to other problems, but so far, I believe I trust everyone on the board ^_~

pass hassle classical assist assume Cassandra
Okay, that works for me.
Other letter-combinations I don't really care about, but this is such a common one in English, and I'd rather not have to try to think of synonyms for assume ("believe") or assistant (although "sidekick" actually ended up being a more precise choice, so I guess you could argue that the moderation system actually *did* help my vocabulary ).

o.o wow, it's been a while since I've been here (and as it is I think this is my first post. ^^; )
but yeah, my username... to be honest it was just something random I thought up of a few years back when I wanted to set up a new e-mail account other than my Yahoo one, which had my real name, and since I grew up watching both CCS and Tenchi Muyo, I figured heck why not?

So:
311-Why'd you pick Sora instead of the silver haired bishie Riku??? ^^ Do you think Kurama311 would sound any good???
cardcaptorryoko- ^^ When I first came across your name those two series came to mind, I've never seen ccs but familiar w/ the title and at the time I was newly introduced to Tenchi Muyo so I always wondered if the Ryoko from your name came from that one or not, now I know!

Hm to tell the truth I like Sora better than Riku. However on the looks Riku wins hands down!
I never even though about Kurama311 X3

311! I remember you! And yeah, I'm mentioned in the first post. ^.^
This is Equus48, aka Equus-chan. Equus is pronounced "Ee-kwus" with an emphasis on the first syllable. And Refi really used to dislike her nickname. My name is also fairly simple. I love horses, which are part of the equine family. Equus is another form of the same base, though it's not widely known. Actually...there is a bit of a story behind it. Basically, my sister was being quizzed, and she had a question along the lines of, "What family does the horse belong to?"
Being, like my mom, a horse-lover, my sister easily answered, "Equus." The teacher said, "No, that's wrong." And, well...my sister was right. So maybe not the best story (I try to respect teachers) but one I rather like. ^///^
So that's partly why I like the word equus. The number 4 is my favorite number, because it seems "feminine" while all the others are "masculine" (I was also a kid, seriously, when I decided all that, including liking 4). I also chose 8 as a kid because that's the age of baptism. And since it's easier to get a name with numbers behind it than just the name itself...Equus48! At least as my tag. Just call me Equus, Equus-chan, Eq-chan (Refi's nickname for me XD ), or insane.
Ttyl!
